BARBADOS-The flag, adopted in 1966, consists of three equally sized vertical stripes; blue ? representing the sea and the sky – on the left and the right, and yellow/gold ? symbolizing the sand – in the middle. Floating at center of the yellow/gold stripe is a black trident ? representing the three principles of the democracy.
