Description
BELIZE – A royal blue base, with a slender red stripe running horizontally across both the top and the bottom, make up the flag of Belize. At its center is a white circle backing the nation’s a coat of arms which is made up of fifty olive leaves, with a man holding an axe on the left, and another man holding an oar on the right. Above is a tree – below it is Belize’s motto; “Sub umbra floreo”, which means “I flourish in the shadow”.
